اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِكَ وَرَسُولِكَ النَّبِيِّ الْأُمِّيِّ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ. اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَاةً تَكُونُ لَكَ رِضًا وَلَهُ جَزَاءً وَلِحَقِّهِ أَدَاءً وَآتِهِ الْوَسِيلَةَ وَالْفَضِيلَةَ وَالْمَقَامَ الْمَحْمُودَ الَّذِي وَعَدْتَهُ وَاجْزِهِ أَفْضَلَ مَا جَزَيْتَ نَبِيًّا عَنْ قَوْمِهِ وَرَسُولًا عَنْ أُمَّتِهِ وَصَلِّ عَلَى جَمِيعِ إِخْوَانِهِ مِنَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَالصَّالِحِينَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ

Virtues and Benefits

  • If recited on 7 Friday nights for 7 times, the intercession of the Prophet ﷺ is assured on the Day of Judgement (Hazrat Ibn Abi Assim)

History and Background

Hazrat Ibn Abi Assim (radi Allahu anhu) narrates that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said that if any person recites the above Durood Shareef on 7 Friday nights for 7 times, then the intercession of the Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) is assured for the reciter on the Day of the Judgement.
