History and Background

Salat al-Fatih (The Opener's Prayer) is a highly regarded Durood, particularly within the Tijaniyya Sufi order, though recited widely. It is attributed to Sheikh Muhammad al-Bakri. It describes the Prophet ﷺ as the one who opens what was locked (spiritually) and seals what came before.
