اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَاةً تَكُونُ لَكَ رِضًا وَلِحَقِّهِ أَدَاءً وَآتِهِ الْوَسِيلَةَ وَالْمَقَامَ الْمَحْمُودَ الَّذِي وَعَدْتَهُ وَاجْزِهِ عَنَّا مَا هُوَ أَهْلُهُ وَاجْزِهِ عَنَّا مِنْ أَفْضَلِ مَا جَزَيْتَ نَبِيًّا عَنْ أُمَّتِهِ وَصَلِّ عَلَى جَمِيعِ إِخْوَانِهِ مِنَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَالصَّالِحِينَ

Virtues and Benefits

  • If recited 7 times for 7 Fridays, the mercy of Sayyiduna Rasoolullah ﷺ will reach the reciter (Hadith)
  • Should be recited by every Muslim permanently

History and Background

The Hadith of Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) says that if a man recites the above mentioned Durood Shareef 7 times, for 7 Fridays, then the mercy of Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) will reach him. (The name “Da’im” means “permanent”. Thus, this Durood Shareef should be recited by every Muslim permanently).
